Hi, my name is Enes and I'm the builder of sendeink.

I tried many reading apps, including Instapaper, Readwise, and Onyx's own PushRead, but they all lack the simplicity of a PDF where I can actually use my tablet's capability of writing and taking notes on the articles directly.

That's why I built sendeink, as I wanted to build a product that I personally long for. With sendeink you can add an online article to your reading list and we will convert it to a readable PDF and upload it to Google Drive for your distraction-free reading.

For now, the feature scope is quite limited but I myself am already getting some value out of it. I wanted to share the product with you, so you can start testing it and with your help I can clarify what to build next.

Currently features in short:

• Google Drive integration for automatic sync
• Personalized email addresses for article submission
• Clean reading list interface

A bit more details on the current capabilities following.

1. Google Drive integration

For now, the only cloud provider we support is Google Drive. You can set it up by going to "Connections" on the sidepanel and going through the connection flow, which redirects you to the Google authentication screen. This will require access to the Google Drive API, which sendeink uses to upload the PDFs we generate from the URLs you paste in.

NOTE: I'm in the process of going through verification with Google, so you don't see that warning screen. I will update you once we are verified.

Planned work: My initial plan was to offer a direct integration with Onyx Push, which would be very convenient since it doesn't require setting up a Google Drive sync on your device. Unfortunately, Onyx Push is proprietary, and they don't offer a public API for us developers. That is a shame, but I'm working on reverse engineering the API, so I can offer you a direct integration.

2. Personalized email addresses for article submission

Once you signup with sendeink, we generate a personalized email for you, that you can use to submit online articles without th need of an app or visiting sendeink.com. Find your personal address in your Reading List settings.

sendeink will notify you back with an email once the article is pushed to your cloud.

3. Clean reading list interface & settings

The reading list interface is very minimal and clean. See the video tutorial below for how to add a new article:

Choose a pre-made theme for your preferred reading by going to Home > Reading list settings. I will soon add the possiblity to customize the PDF generation with custom themes.
